My Go To Wellness Terms and Conditions

Welcome to My Go To Wellness. We’re so pleased to support you on your journey to better health and wellbeing. These Terms and Conditions explain the agreement between My Go To Wellness ("we", "our", or "us") and you ("the client" or "you"). By booking, purchasing or participating in any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

1. Scope of Our Services
My Go To Wellness provides health, fitness, nutrition and menopause wellness services designed especially for individuals aged 35+. Our services include:
* Mobile personal fitness and wellness sessions
* In-person group fitness classes
* Live and pre-recorded online fitness programmes
* Nutritional and menopause wellness consultations
* The EmpoweringHER 12-Week Menopause Wellness Programme (in-person)
All services aim to support your physical health, nutritional goals, menopause wellbeing and overall lifestyle.

2. Your Consumer Rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to services delivered with reasonable care and skill. If you believe a service has not met this standard, you may request a remedy such as a correction, repeat service, or in some cases, a partial or full refund, in accordance with your legal rights.

3. Booking, Cancellations and Refunds
14-Day Cooling-Off Period
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel any bookings or subscriptions within 14 days of purchase, provided that the service or booking has not already commenced. After this period, cancellations are no longer permitted.

Non-Refundable Services
Once the following services have started, they become strictly non-refundable:
* EmpoweringHER In-Person Programme
* Personal Training Packages
* Fitness Class Bundles
* In-person, live-streamed, or pre-recorded programmes

Appointments

For 1-to-1 sessions, group sessions or live sessions including fitness training, nutritional guidance, or menopause wellness consultations, cancellations must be made with at least 72 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less notice will not be eligible for a refund.

Workshops

Cancellations for workshops must be submitted at least 14 days in advance. No refunds are issued for cancellations received within 14 days of the scheduled start date.

Medical Exceptions

We understand that health circumstances can change. In the case of genuine medical conditions that prevent you from participating, please contact us directly at info@mygotowellness.co.uk. Refunds or rescheduling may be offered at the discretion of My Go To Wellness upon receipt of appropriate medical documentation.

Digital Resources

Please note that all digital resources—including downloadable guides, e-books, recipes, video bundles, and digital programme content—are non-refundable once purchased or accessed.
This is because digital content is immediately accessible and cannot be returned in the same way as physical goods. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept this condition as part of our business’s commitment to protecting intellectual property and maintaining fairness in service delivery.


4. Health, Safety & Participation
Your safety and wellbeing matter deeply to us.

Medical Readiness
Before participating in any of our services, you are responsible for confirming your readiness to exercise or take part. If you have a medical condition (e.g., cardiovascular issues, diabetes, joint problems, or recent surgery), you must consult your GP or specialist beforehand and, where relevant, provide written confirmation that you are safe to participate. We may request this as part of our duty of care.

Modifications for Health Conditions
We strive to accommodate a wide range of needs, including arthritis, fibromyalgia, reduced mobility, menopause symptoms and chronic pain. Please let us know in advance about any conditions that may require modifications, and we will provide appropriate options wherever reasonably possible.

5. Disclaimer
All guidance provided through our fitness sessions, consultations, or wellness programmes is intended for personal educational use only. While we are trained professionals in our fields, we do not provide medical advice or diagnosis. You should always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new diet, exercise or wellness regime—especially during menopause, perimenopause, or while managing a chronic health condition.

6. Data Protection & Privacy
We are committed to safeguarding your data in compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

What We Collect
We may collect personal and health-related information when you book a session or join a programme. This data helps us tailor services to your needs and ensure your safety.

How We Use Your Data
We use your information only for relevant service delivery, safety, communication, and to manage bookings. We never sell or share your data with third parties unless legally required or with your written consent.

Your Rights

7. Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
At My Go To Wellness, we celebrate diversity and welcome all clients regardless of age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion or background. In line with the Equality Act 2010, we do not tolerate discrimination and will always strive to make our services inclusive and accessible.

Reasonable Adjustments
If you require adjustments to take part in our services, please let us know in advance so we can do our best to meet your needs.

8. Payments & Expiry

Payments
Full payment is required in advance to confirm any bookings. Payments can be made via Square (our online booking system) or Electronic Bank Transfer. No service will be delivered until payment has been received.

Expiry of Services
Purchased services or programme packages must be used within the timeframe specified at booking (typically 30 to 90 days). Unused sessions after this period are not refundable or transferable.

9. Intellectual Property
All programme materials, videos, written content, and branding associated with My Go To Wellness are the intellectual property of the business. You may not copy, record, distribute, or reuse any content without written permission.

10. Liability & Risk
You agree to participate in our services at your own risk. While we make every effort to keep you safe, My Go To Wellness cannot be held liable for injuries, loss, or damage resulting from participation unless caused by our negligence. By booking with us, you accept responsibility for your own health, actions and participation.

11. Online Services & Technical Issues
Occasionally, our live or recorded services may experience interruptions due to technical issues, maintenance, or internet connectivity. We will always do our best to resolve these promptly. Interruptions do not constitute a breach of contract.

12. Updates to Terms
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the revised terms.
